On the 20th anniversary of September 11th, VOICES: Center for Resilience is still forging the path for responders and survivors of the 2001 terrorist attacks. Through a litany of impactful resources including training, mental health services, and annual symposiums — VOICES has encouraged the healing and success of those impacted by the events of 9/11. Here are the ways you can support their organization:

1. Donate to VOICES

It’s no secret that one of the most effective ways to support organizations and nonprofits is through financial support. For VOICES, donations directly impact programs and events, victims and their families, and the 9/11 Living Memorial Project.

To donate to VOICES, visit their website.

2. Become a VOICES Intern

This organization also provides a summer internship program, ideal for students that are hoping to build careers in the social services space.

To learn more about VOICES’ internship opportunities and apply for their next internship cycle, visit their website.

3.Spread the Word

If you know someone who was a responder, survivor, or an individual that has been impacted by the events of 9/11, let them know about the community and support offered by VOICES.

Additionally, VOICES offers its services to other victims of disasters and tragedies. Extend the hand of help by spreading the word about everything VOICES has to offer.

4. Work or Volunteer for VOICES

VOICES keeps a running list of open positions for careers and volunteer opportunities within the organization. If you’d like to make a career out of helping those impacted by 9/11, visit the VOICES webpage for careers and volunteer resources.

5. Follow and Engage with VOICES on Social Media

Social media is one of the most effective ways to spread the word about an organization or cause. First, follow VOICES on their social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram

Moreover, engaging through likes, comments, and shares can boost the amount of traffic made to the accounts and help VOICES reach a wider audience!
